Capture ("the Software") is free, open-source software. By downloading, installing, or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

Capture is licensed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it under those terms. The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

3. Third-party AI providers

The optional AI features (script & caption generation) require your own account and API key, or sign-in, with a third-party provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, GitHub Models, or GitHub Copilot). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and pricing. Capture is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, output, or charges.

4. No warranty & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the Software or its use, including data loss or damages of any kind.

These terms may be updated from time to time; the latest version posted here applies.
